Reviews and Ratings
After a long flight and a straight 2-hour drive from Fukuoka, the hotel's rooms felt dull and old, making the stay hot and stuffy with a hint of sulfur that was slightly annoying. The service, although friendly and with a touch of banter, was limited in amenities like shops and commercial services. The location, while close to the ocean and ferry terminal, was a bit far from Beppu town center, slightly inconveniencing the commute. The dining options provided diversity but were consistently too cold, offering great views over the town towards the sea. The overall facilities were basic and lacked modern amenities.
The hotel wasn't the best choice as it was quite far from the station and the breakfast was a letdown despite the lovely ocean views. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were highlights, but the sulfur smell in the rooms was a bit off-putting.
The hotel is conveniently situated close to the ferry terminal, making it easily accessible for travelers. While the rooms might need some updating and were a bit dated, they were generally clean despite a slight sulfur odor. The service was welcoming and helpful, although improvements could be made with battery replacement upon request. The location offers proximity to the ocean and the ferry terminal, with transport options like buses available, though not the most central for certain activities. The dining experience may not have been exceptional, particularly for breakfast options, but overall, the hotel provides a decent level of service and amenities.
The hotel may not be ideal in all aspects, but it offers a mix of positive and negative features. The rooms are generally clean and relaxing, but the sulfur smell can be a bit annoying. The service is welcoming and helpful, although the location is a bit far from the town center and other amenities. The dining experience provides some diversity but is somewhat underwhelming. The facilities are well-kept but lack certain elements.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was not ideal as it was far from the city center but right by the ocean, which was lovely. The room felt a bit dated and not as clean as I would have liked, and the sulfur smell was quite annoying. On the bright side, the staff were really friendly and could speak English well.
